[RECIPE] Spaghetti Aglio Olio With Sautéed Mushroom

Hi i'm back!

Today i want to share another recipe, there's a backstory to this recipe, so once upon a time, me and my mother ate at this fancy restaurant where they serve this amazing pasta aglio olio, it was so good! But too pricey for me to go eat there often, so i decided to re-create the pasta myself! Took me a while... But i finally made it!

The original one is with smoked beef, but i'm actually not a big fan of meat so i use mushroom as substitute, and to me i tasted WAY better because the mushrooms adds more flavour and fragrance :)

Okay enough talking, let's get cooking!

What you'll need are:

- a big pot
- a stove (duh)
- a sharp knife
- a cutting board
- a rinser
- a pan

The ingredients are:

- 4 to 8 finely sliced cloves of garlic (depending on the size, indonesian garlic are super tiny)
- 3 tbs of olive oil
- salt
- grinded pepper
- grinded black pepper
- dried oregano
- dried basil
- chili flakes
- 5 sliced shitake mushrooms(or as much as you like)
- a handfull of dried spaghetti pasta

This recipe is for 1 person

Step by step:

- fill your pot with water and boil it, then put in your dried pasta and boil for 13-15 minutes then rinse it (if you made your own pasta then feel free to skip this step)

- heat up your pan in medium heat, pour in the olive oil, after the oil is hot put in the garlics, fry untill they start to brown

Like that

- put in the mushrooms, season with salt, peppers, black pepper, oregano, basil and chili flakes, just put in a little by little, usually i just eyeballed it and took a taste once in a while, plus everybody have different preferences in spices :D stir fry the mushrooms untill they shrinked, you can add water if the heat is too high.

- lower the heat and mix in the pasta, stir everything untill well combined, then serve!

I really love this recipe because it's very rich in flavour, and it's also healthy! And did i mention that this is vegan?

If you try this recipe please tell me! Or take a picture for instagram and tag my instagram account @jacq_tanoto

Have a nice day everyone!

[RECIPE] FOOL PROOF FLUFFY PANCAKE BATTER

Hey guys! Remember me? LOL it have been ages since my last post!

Today i want to share another recipe!

I have always loved having pancakes for breakfast, but i didn't know how to make it, so i tried and tried and tried, untill finally i'm able to make my own fluffy pancakes!

This pancake batter creates a very fluffy and soft pancakes, it's very easy and sinple, it can made around 6-8 medium size pancakes, depending on how big is your medium :D

What you'll need is:

DRY INGREDIENTS :

100gr all purpose flour

6gr baking powder (yes it's a lot)

10gr powdered milk

15gr sugar

A pinch of salt

Sift them all together to make sure there are no lumps and the ingredients is well mixed.

WET INGREDIENTS

1 egg (room temperature)

120ml milk

30gr butter, melted

Whisk them all together untill a little bit foamy

NOTE : make sure your egg is in room temperature, because cold eggs won't give much volume and air, which can make your pancakes rubbery and won't fluff.

STEP BY STEP:

Pre-heat your pan in medium heat.

Whisk together your dry and wet ingredients in a big bowl, make sure there are no lumps, the batter should be thick, but lump free.

After making sure your pan is hot (at least 120 celcius) pour in the dough and fry for at least 1 minutes each sides.

Stack up your pancakes and serve them with what ever toppings or sauce you want, and enjoy!

If you want to take the pancakes to go but you don't want to bother bringing any sauce, you can put in nuts, chocolate chips, berries or even chocolate bars in the batter so you don't need anymore sauce or toppings ;)

[RECIPE] How to Make Caramel Chocolate Fudge with Baileys

Hello!

So tomorrow is valentine's day huh? I never celebrate it because i've been single my whole life heheh~

BUT that doesn't mean i shouldn't make a chocolate for my friends~

I was so bored because i have to rest, i've got fever all week and sore throat but no cough thankfully and even though i supposed to rest i still go practice for dance yesterday and my condition is worse today...stupid me...

ANYWAY i'm getting off topic here,
So a couple of days ago i'm so bored so i tried to make some chocolate that i wanted to share with my family n friends, i decided to make a caramel chocolate fudge with bailey's, and everybody went crazy for it...i was so surprised they liked them because i wasn't sure about my recipe, and now people kept asking for the recipe! I thought i'll just share it here, i hope you guys likes it!

So what you'll going to need are:

200g of condensed milk
50d unsalted butter
225gr palm sugar
1tbs corn syrup
75gr dark chocolate for cooking, i got a cube ones, but if you don't have it you'll have to chop it so it will melt quicker

And last but not least
BAILEYS! I didn't measure it because i only put it little by little untill it suit my taste

Now the steps are:

1. In a medium low temperature, Melt the butter in a heavy based pan
2. Add the milk and stir them
3. Add the palm sugar little by little and stir them untill sugar dissolve
4. Add the corn syrup and keep stirring them in medium high temperature for around 25-30 minutes, untill they got thickened and turned into a caramel DO NOT STOP STIRRING OR THE CARAMEL WILL STICK TO YOUR PAN FOREVER
5. After the caramel is thick enough, add the chocolate quickly and stir untill the chocolate dissolve
6. Add the baileys
7. You can grease a pan with butter and put the fudge in the freezer for 1 hour, don't forget to spread them nicely :)
8. After letting the fudge cool down, cut them in cubes(you can use a mold if you want but i prefer the cubes)

And you're done!

A chocolate fudge is rare in my country so a lot of people go crazy on them because they never tried anything like it, i'm so happy that all my friends and family liked it ^^

And i hope anybody who read and try this recipe likes it too! Please comment below if you ever tried this recipe ;)

[review] Queen Eyelashes and Eye Goodies

Hi guys! I'm baaackk~

I've been swamped with practices and choreographing for my dance competitions and also preparing for my national dance exam and international dance exam... I actually has some products that i want to review but i never got the time to do so, currently i'm writing on a bus to go to the studio for another practice, and since i got a seat so i'll write~ XD

Tomorrow i'll be competing for the danceprix competition, and my team's theme is Alladin! I design the costumes, picked the fabric and made the acessories myself :) so proud of how it turns out, i'll show the costume after the competition in the post update tomorrow(maybe)

Okay! Speaking of Alladin that means Arabic make up!

Because i used up all of my eyelashes and eyeliner and glue and...basically every eye stuff i have to buy them again, and of course i bought them all at my fav onlinse store in the instagram @vie_andiksu ! I bought 5 pairs of eyelashes, a glue, 2 eyeliners and i got an eyebrow fixer as a bonus :3

Took this pic when the arrived teehee

I used the Queen eyelashes, which is super thick and long, usually i would never buy such thick and long eyelashes, but when i applied it, it's not so bad, i thought i'll look like a creep hahaha, it really help making my eyes bigger <3

i also used the eyeliners that i bought, for the upper eyeline i used the solone color party, the color is not so pigmented, but it has a little sparkle, i guess it'll work well for natural look but for a show it'll not work so well

The eyeliner is an automatic one, you don't have to sharpen it, and it also comes with a smudger, incase you want to create that smoky look

And for the lower lines i used the rose garden eye pencil

The color is the same, both are not so pigmented for a show quality, but for daily use, they'll do fine, plus both are waterproof, none of the smudge when i applied them XD

Here's how they look on a full face picture, the eyelashes stand out the most :D ooh! By the way i made the head piece myself XD

I actually bought another type of eyelashes from the shop, i will create a look with the eyelashes next time ;)

UPDATE!

Here's the final look(too bad i was too swamped with the competition i forgot to take a close up) i designed the look from head to toe, and i also picked the fabric myself with the help of the mother of the company's director and my kind cousin thank you guys :)

BTW my dance company got 6 thropies! So proud XD

[REVIEW] Kiss White Me Up Sleeping Pack

Hi there everybody!

Happy New Year to all of you! I hope you guys will get a blessed year in 2015! ^^

This would be my first post of the year yay! And as i promised on my last post, i'm going to make a review for Kiss White Me Up Sleeping Pack! I've used this for a month constantly, so i can feel the effect from the product :3

So let's start shall we?

Kiss White Me Up Sleeping Pack is the newer version from Kiss Whitening Collagen

For the formula however, they didn't say that there are any difference or enchancement in the formula though, only rebranding and repackaging, although some sourcea insisted that the formula is enchanced but it's not from the official source, so i can't tell you it's the truth because when i've been searching the official singapore site they never said anything about new enchanced formula in this product CMIIW :)

Tada! I got a bonus from the online shop i bought it from: @clover_melz thank you! The abalone cream is also famous, this product is targeted for middle aged woman, because this one is focused on revitalizing and anti aging effect :) while White Me Up is for...well u guessed it, whitening~

This product is meant for intensive night treatment, and the company suggested to use it 2-3 times a week, i usually use it once every 3 days, which means 2 times a week :D

The box packaging is nice and secure, the product container is a bit fragile, so packing it like this really protect the product container :)

Not much difference from the old product, only the product's name is changed

For you who don't know about this product, to use this product you have tu pump the product by pushing this white button, and rhe product will come out from the centre, when it's new then there will be a silicone guard to make sure the product won't spill :) again, nice packaging security!

I had a little hard time to scrape off the silicone guard, you have to have a long nail to scrape it off which i don't ( -_-)=3

This is how the product looked like, it has a gentle scent, not too much perfume, which i like, i hate it when a skin care has strong fragrance because too many fragrance could make our skin dry (>_<)

One more thing i like from this product is how it's already gives you the meassurement of how many product you should use for your face and neck, one pump is enough for our face and neck :D

It looks like it's a very tiny amount of product, but trust me it's enough, because the product is really easy to spread (^v^)

Don't forget to wash your dace before applying this product!

Now, i've heard people saying that this is like another miracle cream that quickly makes you face brighter and flawless, of course i didn't believe that, this is a nice product but i don't think it's a miracle cream #overrated i've used it for a month and i like it, but it's not miraculous for me here's the result of me using it for 4 weeks:

The night before using it: i got some visible pores, some red marks from acnes and no, i didn't edit this picture and also the rest of it.

The morning after! Sorry some of the pictures are blurry i was so sleepy i didn't realize it, and this is my face right after i woke up, not much difference, some people said that their face are brighter in the next morning, but not for me, BUT my face does felt amazing, so moist :D

2nd week! In this lighting it looks like my skin is pale (0_o) my red spots from acnes are still there although it's smaller now but still visible

3rd week and super zoomed face, still got red spots, but this is the beginning of my period so...i think that's why...but for my skin tone, it's brighter a bit though,my family and friends noticed it :D

(With flash,i got teary eyes so don't mind the tini tiny tear over there haha,i'm not being emo-dramatic here :P)

And this is the 4th week! The red spots are still there but it's because of my period,i tend to have break outs on my period (>_<) but they are fading though :D

All of the pictures are taken right after i woke up,because i want to show the effect of the product in the morning, some people said that their face became so oily after using it, my skin type is normal, which is why it didn't make my face oily, but the product is very moisturizing,it could made people with oily face got oilier face hahaha is that even a word? Anyways...

After 4 weeks of using the product i do feel a difference, my face feels softer now and more moisturized, my face looks healthier, for the red spots they actually fade away, but not as fast as some people claimed it to be, some people also claimed that this product can minimize pore, which is not working on me, my pores are the same size

Bottom line, this is a nice night cream/sleeping pack i reccomend this for people with dry-normal skin only, because for oily people this product might make your oily skin worse (>_<)

And don't expect this product to magically made your skin much more brighter than your original skin tone, this is not a bleach cream, i read a lot of customer in the shop's comment section asking if this product can make their dark skin fair....no honey, unless you have a western/european/oriental genes on you, you won't be able to have a fair skin :( it's already in you gene, unless you have michael jackson's disease or bleach your skin which i DO NOT reccomend, because it's dangerous for your skin.

Well that's all for now ^^ i hope this review can be usefull, see ya again people!
