[REVIEW] Les Merveilleuses De Laduree Rose Petal Blush

Hi guys!

Finally my musical is doonnneee soo happy yay! I'm gonna miss the rush hehehehee~

Today i wanna make a review for Les Merveilleuses de Laduree's rose petal blush!

This suupppeeerrr cuuuuttteeee blush can only be bought in japan or france (for now) i bought it online from @ettusais_cosme 

This blush is sold separately from the case though :( which made it more expensive, but the case can be use for keeping potpourri later :D because the blush is definitely inspired from potpurri (well...i assume...)

Voila! Inside the box is a satin pouch that is used to cover the blush petal

And that's the case, it's made from plastic, and the lid had no secure lock so we have to be carefull

Zoom into the petal...wow such details!

Btw i expect the petal will be hard like a chip, but it turns out the petal is so thin like a paper! And soft too~ They also have a rose fragrance not too much though, the fragrance is gentle

And tadaa! I tried my best to arrange the petals into a rose...i think i did an okay job....right?

Okay now for swatches and review:

To use the blush it's imposibble to keep the blush in the rose shape :'D because you have to mix your brush into it and hey, surpisingly, the color is more pigmented than i thought! I've read some review saying the blush color is not so pigmented so i assume a faint color but this blush is actually not bad~

I put the blush on in one swipe and the color is nice! Really natural, I love the color :3

I seriously didn't think that the color will be pigmented, of course it's not the most pigmented blush in the world, i'm just surprise because i expect it to be very sheer n faint colored hehehe

And this is me 3 hours after appliying, the color is still there, but i didn't sweat and i used car for traveling today, so i'm not so surprised i'll try using it for work and practice next time mwahahahah~

So the conclusion is

Pros :

- super cute packaging

- super cute design

- the color is pigmented enough(recomended for daily only though...for a show in other hand...it'll be a waste because you have to use a huge amount of blush)

- the formula didn't feel heavy

- the fragrance is gentle

Cons :

- super expensive, especially because you have to buy the case sepparately

- super hard to find outside japan n france(which made it more expensive)

- not really worth it if you're the kind of people who value quality=price hehehe

Will i buy it again?

Well...probably...when i'm getting married in the future? U know, for photoshoot and videoshooting lol not sure my blush will stay a long time considering i've never even had a boyfriend untill now ahahahahaha~ 

Well i'm gonna go have a dinner now, oh btw in the picture i used limecrime pink velvetines, which going to be my next review! Let's see if this lipstain really stay a long time ;D ciao for now!

[TUTORIAL] "Power"

Hi!

This tutorial is especially made for the students of Gigi Art of Dance, which going to dance in a piece called "Power" in Gigi Art of Dance's next dancical E-Motions : Daun Terakhir (Last leaf)

You're going to need:

- Primer (for face and eyes)

- Cream Foundation

- Cream Shading

- Cream Highlighter

- Powder

- Black Eyeliner/Eye Shadow

- Silver Eyeshadow 

- Green Eyeshadow

Step 1.

With a clean face apply your face primer all over your face and your eye primer all over your eyelids

Step 2.

Apply foundation all over your face, then apply shading from the middle of your ear to the middle of your face right below your apple cheek, the side of your nose and the side of your temples.

After that apply highlighter to the bottom of your eyes,your nose bridge,chin and forehead

Here's the example on where you should put on the shading and highlighter:

Step 3.

Apply powder evenly

Step 4.

Draw a triangle with black eyeliner or eyeshadow from the edge of your inner eyebrow to your temple, then make a cat eye styled line on your eyes and pull it all the way up until it met the line from your eye brow, and then for the inner lid, follow your eyelid line then draw a line and connect it to the eyebrow line, like in the picture:

(Black liner/shadow)

(Triangle,following your eyebrows all the wat to your temple,then cat eyes and make a line in the middle)

Step 5.

With silver eyeshadow, fill in the lines, then use green eye shadow for the edge of the inner lid

Step 6.

After you're done with your eyes, put ob coral colored blush on(mix pink and orange) and apply on your cheeks

Step 7.

Take the white cream highliter again and apply it on your lips

Then with black eyeshadow, draw this:

(Leave the middle of your upper lip white, and draw a triangle in the middle of your lower lip)

Lastly put in fake lashes, and silver glitter on the silver eye shadow

And you're done!

[DIY] Masquerade Mask From Hot Glue

Woohoo~

There are 2 exciting things that is coming near! First is of course, the Dancical that i'm in, Gigi Art of Dance's E-motions : Daun Terakhir (last leaf) which is coming soon in november 16 peeps! For you guys who lives in jakarta you should definitely watch it because it's gonna be aaaaaaaaawwwweeeeesoooommmmeeeee!!!! 450 performers, 27 dances and a mission to save the earth that's like mega awesomeness, plus you'll get like free seeds that you can plant in your house! 

And second is : HALOWEEN!

It's like my favourite holiday because i can use my creativity to make weird stuff hehehehe last year i created a zombie make up using cottons like this :

Whaddya think? Not bad for first timer?

This year, i wanted to make something pretty...because...i feel like it lol and i'm also obbsessed with the lace masquerade masks they are awesome! But....so friggin expensive so...i tried to make them by myself! And they also gonna be wore by the dancers at my musical later hohoho

So, let me share to you the trick to make a masquerade mask in super cheap and easy way:

What you'll need are:

- a paper

- a glue gun

- lots of glue gun refill

- paint of your choice

- glitter of your choice

- clear tape

- beads,jewels,pearls of your choice

- pencil

- marker

- paint brush

- tulle

- thick plastic(clear)

- scissors

- a mask design (if you want)

- stretchy thread

And here are the steps:

1. Draw your own mask design or you can google it and print it out 

NOTE: if you draw it yourself, and you're making a 2 sided mask, you can draw half in one side of paper then flip it, trace it on the other side to make it even.

2. Tape your drawing/design down, then cover it with thick and clear plastic, don't forget to tape it too and lastly, tape the tulle on top of them.

(Ps: i did NOT draw this, i printed it, all credits goes to google and the artist which i'm so sorry i forgot to save your name)

3. Take your glue gun, and trace the glue according to the design, then wait for the glue to dry and take it off.

Tada~

4. After cutting all the unused tulle, paint the dried glue, then sprinkle them with glitter A.K.A pixie dust ( had to say it sorry XD) then wait for the paint to dry off.

5. After the paint is dried, it's time to decorate! In this pic i was working on a mask that's going to be used for my musical, it's only a simple one, i just use some fake pearls and glue 'em to the tulle with the glue gun.

6. Lastly put on the stretchy thread, you can sew it through the tulle or just glue gun it it's up to you :D and voila! You're dooonnnneee~

(Was so excited, i don't care that i have no make up and hasn't finished cutting the left over tulle yet lol, don't judge me)

Yaaayyy~ i already finished 2 type of masks phew! I still need to make 2 more mask designs for my musical, and some more accecories...and the photoshoot is next week! Such a pressure... Wish me luck! I don't have much time to do a proper photoshoot and make up :( but i really want to share this tutorial for my readers, who knows some of you will find this tutorial usefull :D

[REVIEW & SWATCH] Etude House's Jelly Lipstick

Hey guys!

It feels like forever since i last post anything on my blog heheheh got caught up in thesis defense and work so i can't update my blog :'( eventhough there are a LOT of products that i wanted to make a review for...

Anyway for today i only want to make a short review for Etude House's Jelly Lipstick in JPK001 it's a tinted balm which gives moisture and gives color to our lips! I know it's a very old product, but i just wanna share my opinion :D

Tadaaa~

I've used this a LOT hence the sad looking stick :'D

This is how it looks when applied to my bare lips, i have a very dry lips, you can still see my chapped skin a little here, the color is so pretty, i only applied it once

Overall review:

- packing wise, it's very cute as usual, the pink jelly color is really pretty too :3

- moisture, yep it does moisture my lips, but only when the product is still on, when it got wiped the moisture gone, also it feels so buttery

- color, the color is kinda bold for a tinted balm, i'm surprised actually hehehe

- price, well...it's only so-so still affordable but not really worth it, not sure if i wanna buy it again though ;(

Oh also i noticed that after using the balm my lips became dry sometimes...that can be either i'm dehydrated or the tinted balm has too many tint...

And here's my FOTD~ only a natural make up because i'm not going anywhere fancy :D

[REVIEW] Slushy Peppermint Hair Treatment from @prettyrecipe and Mane n Tail update

Hi there!

I want to share a review about this handmade hair product from @prettyrecipe 

Just like the shop's name it's so pretty!

This is an Organic Peppermint Hairmask, that is perfect for people like me who have dandruff problem ,itchy scalp and oily hair :')

The texture is easily absorbed in your hair, the smell is very subtle and nice <3

I have used it for 2 weeks, the first time i used this, gosh...i feel so refreshed! the minty feeling from the product is very relaxing and refreshing i love it!

Now if you haven't tried applying a hair mask on your own here's a few step that i usually do:

1. Wash your hair untill it's clean

2. Dried you clean hair with towel until the water top dripping and your hair is half dry

3. Comb your hair with a wide toothed comb, this is important to prevent hair-loss, make sure your hair is untangled

4. Apply the product, since this product is for my scalp, i apply it to my scalp and hair, but if you're using a hair mask for softening your hair then just apply it on your hair,don't apply it on your scalp because it could make your scalp damp,and lots of bacterias could appear and you could get dandruff too...

5. After you applied enough product, wrap your hair with warm towel for 15-20 minutes (usually i play games when applying hair mask and ended up leaving it for hours...luckily it didn't cause bad effect...i think...but it's better just leave it 15-20 minutes)

6. Last step is to wash all the product off, now this product didn't give that super cold cooling effect when you wash it off, but it gives a very soothing cooling effect, VERY refreshing after it's all gone, my hair feels squeaky clean and my head feel sooo refreshed~ 

After all the product is off i usually just dried my hair, but since this is peppermint it kinda made my dry hair even drier so i use conditioner again then dry my hair with  hair dryer :) the result after 2 times of using the product? No more dandruff baby! And my scalp is healthier and no longer oily not itchy :3

Nooo dandruff!! :')

Definitely gonna buy this product again! You can get it at @prettyrecipe!

And a little update for Mane n Tail!

Today is already 2 weeks since i tried the Mane n Tail shampoo n conditioner, i have at least used them 7-8 times already and i can see the improvement!

(Pardon the pale face, got insomnia from browsing too much 9gag)

 Yeah my hair gained more volume than before and it's no longer easily tangled! My hair also definitely look healthier and my hair loss is also slowly reducing... I really recomend this product for people with troubled hair, it's not magically turn your hair healthy instantly but this product surely gives results!

I already pre order my next bottle, because i don't think i want to switch to other shampoo anymore :3 totally recomended!

[REVIEW] Victoria's Secret Glam and Go Portable Make Up Kit

Hello again!

Today i want to write a review for the Victoria's Secret Glam and Go Make Up Kit!

This baby has 4 set of 4 eyeshadows, 1 gel eyeliner 1 blush, and 2 applicator for eyeshadow gel eyeliner and blush, that could help you get the "Must Have Looks" from Victoria's Secret

It contains 4 types of colour "theme" that is perfect for a natural look to party look

At the bottom of the box, there are holes that can be used to poke the make up kit out so you can put it on the portable kit :3

Okay! So, today i want to try this natural purple-brown kit:

It contains:

- Soft pink blush

- A gel eyeliner

- Champange colored eyeshadow

- Pale pink shimmering eyeshadow(that looks white in the picture)

- Lavender colored eyeshadow

- Dark brown eyeshadow

- Natural pink lipstick

The eyeshadow swatches~ i didn't use primer because i want to see how pihmented they are, so far, not dissapointed but not impressed either

The eyeliner, aww the color is not pigmented, and the liner is kinda hard too, but the gel eyeliner aplicator is the softest of them all...it beat my bobby brown's gel eyeliner, seriously,buying bobbi brown's gel eyeliner brush is a waste of money, it poke my eyes and feel itchy, i will never buy the gel liner brush from bobbi brown ever again!

Opps sorry for getting out the track,i really held my grudge for bobbi brown hahahha

And finally the lipgloss! Pretty huh? But if you think it'll give the same result on you lips then you'll be highly dissapointed for the gloss is not pigmented :')

Now this is the finished look from the kit, i didn't use any primer, because i want to see how pigmented they are, voila!

See? Told ya the gloss is not pihmented :') but it still give a gorgeous glow though

I thought the blush won't give much color to my cheek but turns out it did! A very natural pink~ me likey~

The blush aplicator is so soft too!

I really like this kit, so easy to take and it's great for daily make up too!

I'm going to try all the color of course!

But not today, for i have to go with my mom
